Library Victory

Following pressure from residents, campaigners and local Councillors the Labour Mayor, Marvin Rees has now back tracked on his decision to close 17 of Bristol's libraries. The announcement is a moment to celebrate and represents a great victory to all those who have campaigned so hard to save our library network.

This provides a welcome breathing space for Councillors and residents to look at other ways of funding and running the City's library network.
